In a dazzling display of skill and determination, three young girls from Pune, Maharashtra, clinched medals at the National Roller Skating Championship organized by the Rural Games Organization of India (RGOI) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Anavi Prabhakar Kanoje secured a Bronze medal in the under 5 age group.

Shreesha Arpan Shirbhate claimed a Bronze medal in the under 6 age group.

Tosha Kedar Pendke emerged victorious with a Gold medal in the above 14 age group.

The 3 skaters were well trained under the guidance of Mr. Vikas Agrawal of Art In Motion (AIM) academy.

The championship took place on the 17th and 18th of Feb 2024 at the international rink of the renowned Yak Public School in Khopoli, Maharashtra. Skaters from various states, including Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and others, showcased their prowess in this highly competitive event.

These talented skaters, Anavi, Shreesha, and Tosha, proudly represented Maharashtra and brought laurels to the state. They attribute their success to the unwavering support of their parents and the guidance of their coach, Vikas Agrawal.

The achievement of these young athletes not only highlights their individual excellence but also contributes to the overall pride and glory of Maharashtra in the field of roller skating.
